Another way to monetize your blog is to reach out to brands for a sponsored post. Start with brands you personally use and relate to your blog niche. Typically you would write a post about the brand or product and they would pay you for the advertising. Rates for this posts vary by brand and your viewership.
Google AdSense
With Google AdSense you are including ads on your site. You make money per thousand views or when someone clicks on the ad. You need to have an established blog with original content before Google will approve you for AdSense. Also, the amount you earn on views is pretty low, much is why you need significant traffic in order to make this a viable option.
Selling Your Product
Once you have a large following, creating and selling a product is probably the best way to earn money from your blog. Selling your own product keeps readers in your ecosystem and provides much better margins than affiliate links or ads.
